Windermere Jetty Museum. Swallowdale is longer than most of the other books in the Swallows and Amazons series, so we have broken it into two parts on two separate days across a weekend. The reading will begin at 10 a.m. each day, and end around 15.30, Before you fill in the form please look at the timetable below, which gives a rough idea of when the chapters will be read and roughly how long they should take to read.

We’re expecting the event to be popular, so it may be necessary for two readers to share the longer chapters. We’ll ask you about that nearer the event, but if you would like to read with someone in particular, just make that clear on the form. We are likely to be dealing with quite a lot of email so please be patient with us as we work everything out.
